Hx350
IRFP240/9240 Vertical Mosfets
Direct Drive technology

The Hx350 Kit is a single channel amplifier consisting of a PCB and the associated components to populate the pcb as shown above. Included are 10 Power Mosfets for the Power Section.

The following items are not supplied but are essential to building this amplifier.

1) Power Transformer
    1 pc of 65-0-65VAC (800VA)

2) Filter Capacitors
    4 pcs of 22,000uF/100V

3) Heatsink for the Mosfets

4) Metal Case

The Hx350 is the epitome of power. With 10 pieces of IRFP240/9240 power mosfets, it is capable of delivering an astounding 600Watts/RMS into 4 Ω (before clip).

But the Hx350 is not simply raw power, its about the quality of Watts. It has none of the edginess and harshness that amplifiers of this power outputs are notorious for. This is reflected in a Typical Total Harmonic Distortion of less than 0.003 %

Listed below are the general specifications and actual oscilloscope photographs of waveforms rarely published in amplifier manuals, let alone in Kits. It is evident from the data that the Hx350 is in a class of its own.

This amplifier is recommended for experienced constructors only.
The Hx350 requires point to point wiring for the high current section.
Heatsink shown is for illustrative purposes only. It is not included in the Kit.
