Bench Testing

After some tuning, the Mk XXXI bench tested surprising well.

Display on right is the Mk XXXI output of 10KHz Sq, 10Vpp into 8W resistive.

Display shows no ringing and a relatively fast rise time.

Full power test brought up another surprise. It has about 1.5dB of headroom. Maximum Power before clip is at 85Wrms at 1KHz Sine/8W.

Cosmetic Condition

Product Description

The SAE Mk XXXI is manufactured between 1976-1981. It appears to share the same design concept as the earlier Mk IVC, albeit a scale down version. Strangely, the latter Mk XXXI B bears no resemblance to the Mk XXXI.
